On 6 August we hosted the biggest Youth Media event the UK has ever seen – in partnership with the BFI. 387 delegates representing over 100 youth media platforms and over 40 mainstream came to London from across the UK to be inspired and collaborate. We hope our passion and enthusiasm for young people making media is contagious. Every day we get to meet and work with the most dynamic creative’s, often battling against all odds to create professional, beautiful looking media and as Lord Putnam emphasises has ‘been undervalued for too long’.

The Youth Media Summit gave creatives the opportunity to connect together and take our power and influence to make a positive difference. The youth media industry, in the UK is among the most thriving in the world and the YOUTH MEDIA SUMMIT 2014 celebrated that innovation and potential.

“The Youth Media Agency do a great job, aggregating the UK’s youth media organisations, across print, radio and online – and championing their collective worth and value. The Youth Media Summit was a fantastic event that brought this network (and the older, more-established media outlets) together for a day of inspiration and networking. Collaboration is encouraged. New partnerships are formed. The summit was the catalyst!”
Liam Tootill, SBTV, Managing Director
